OUR HISTORY

"Continuous service for your health since 1970."

Early 1970s: Foundation and Early Years

Arhavi State Hospital was planned in the late 1960s and opened in the early 1970s to provide on-site healthcare services to the region. Initially providing basic health services with limited resources, our institution quickly became a vital health stop due to its strategic location on the Black Sea coastal road.

2005: Growth and Merger Period

The year 2005 was a milestone for our hospital, which had gradually increased its capacity in response to the growing population during the 1990s and 2000s. With the transfer of Social Insurance Institution (SSK) hospitals to the Ministry of Health, Arhavi SSK Hospital and Arhavi State Hospital merged under one roof, providing a stronger infrastructure and a broader staff.

2010 to Present: Modernization

Since the 2010s, our institution has transitioned to a digital hospital infrastructure, renewing its radiology and laboratory units according to the requirements of modern medicine. Today, Arhavi State Hospital proudly continues to provide healing with its experienced medical team and modern equipment.

With the strength from our past and commitment to the future, we work tirelessly to provide the best healthcare services to the people of the region.
