Influenza (flu) is a respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses. Influenza, which progresses with seasonal increases in season especially in autumn and winter, causes outbreaks which are called globally and called pandemics from time to time.
Due to the changes in the genetic structure of influenza viruses, a new type of influenza virus may emerge and gain the ability to pass from person to person easily.
In order to take precautions against the factors causing the disease and its spread and to raise awareness, pandemic influenza training was provided by Serhan USLU, our Hospital Internal Medicine Specialist, for the staff of our hospital.
