HISTORY OF OUR HOSPITAL
It was built on an area of 10,350 m2, together with the service building of our hospital and the 16-flat lodging building, and was put into service as Arhavi SSK Dispensary on 09.02.1982. It was upgraded to a 42-bed hospital on 30.11.1986. While it was serving as S.S.K Hospital, it served as temporary Boğaziçi State Hospital in accordance with law no. 4642 for a while as of 20.02.2005. It merged with Arhavi State Hospital with Law No. 5283 and continued to serve as Arhavi State Hospital.

Due to the fact that our hospital building is inadequate to provide service, the physical conditions are not suitable for hospital conditions, and the lodging and service building are old, our Ministry planned a new hospital building with 55 qualified rooms and 40 beds in 2011. As of the same year, a tender was made and the construction of the new hospital building started in January 2012. We have been providing service since 25.03.2016 in our new hospital, the construction of which was completed in March 2016.
